  2. Find pictures, or draw zoo animals, to make a class mural.
  3. Read about a zoo animal that interests you.
  4. Read several poems about zoo animals. Recite your favourite poem
  5. List the people who work at the zoo.


 


Worksheet 2

  1. Explain why there are signs, which say, 'DO NOT FEED THE ANIMALS'. Make some other signs that you have seen at the zoo.
  2. Write your own poem about an animal at the zoo.
  3. Write a report about an animal you have read about. Illustrate it with the animal and display your work.
  4. Write a list of animals and the name they give their young.
  5. Choose an animal you know about. Write 5 interesting facts about it.
  6. Many animals have different footprints. Make a collection. Label and display them.

  5. Make a plasticine model of an animal. Name your animal and write some information about it on a card and display.
  6. Make an animal 'What Am I?' giving only the tails as a clue.
