- History Hill at Hill End, NSW - Includes the Hope Mine a museum where students are shown a video, a blacksmith/tinsmith shop and other authentic buildings.
- The Blacktown and District Historical Society - For students to explore Riverstone near Windsor around the time of Federation. The website has photos based around a local identity, Joseph Henry Cragg and provides an example of the way history can be investigated through primary sources and it also provides a source for investigation by students. The highlight of the site is an aerial drawing of the town, Riverstone, in 1880.
